Dr Sarah Christie

Sarah Christie is an experienced academic professional with over two decades of expertise in the field of Psychology, specialising in the Psychology of Learning and Special Educational Needs. She holds a First Class degree in Psychology, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and earned her PhD in Psychology and Mental Health from Staffordshire University in 2009.

Originally drawn to Psychology through a deep interest in how people learn and thrive, Sarah has spent her career supporting learners at all levels. She has worked extensively on a one-to-one basis, helping individuals achieve their academic goals while developing resilience, motivation, and confidence in their learning journey.

Sarah has a particular affinity for working with people facing complex challenges, including neurodivergence (such as ADHD, Autism, or Dyslexia), mental or physical health conditions, and demanding life circumstances. Her approach is compassionate and holistic, always considering the broader context of each client’s experience.

Currently working as a Learning Coach, Sarah supports individuals of all ages with workload management, deadline achievement, and long-term educational planning. Her goal is to empower every learner to reach their potential with empathy, insight, and encouragement.
