Marianna Alexandropoulos holds a BSc in Psychology from Leiden University and is conducting research on how chronic gut inflammation and neurotoxicity may influence Alzheimer’s-related brain changes, as part of her MSc in Neuroscience at the University of Barcelona.

She has a strong scientific and research background and is particularly interested in translating contemporary neuroscience into practical insights that support evidence-based psychological wellbeing, motivation, behaviour change, and healthy ageing.

Marianna has supported individuals living with dementia through the Alzheimer’s Society in London, working one-to-one and facilitating meaningful activities that promote connection, dignity, and quality of life.

She is currently training to become a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and works in a CBT-informed, non-clinical framework, supporting adults navigating common life stressors such as anxiety, relationships, grief, emotional regulation, goal setting, and life direction.

Outside of her professional life, Marianna enjoys classical ballet, rating films on Letterboxd, losing way more chess games than she wins, and spending quiet evenings exploring the night sky through a telescope.

Marianna works remotely with English-speaking clients internationally as a CBT Therapist in Training within the Clear Thinking Clinic.
